UX and UI get conflated constantly, but they answer different questions. UX is about whether the product works for the person using it. UI is about how that work looks and feels in the hand.
UX: structure and flow
User experience covers research, information architecture, and the shape of a user’s journey. It’s mostly invisible when it’s done well — people just get what they came for.
UI: surface and signal
User interface is the visible craft — typography, colour, motion, and the controls people touch. A beautiful UI without UX foundations is a polished door on a confusing house.
